SWORD is a short film about grief. Released in 2024 as a response and fundraiser to the genocide in Gaza, it follows the path of a swordsmith haunted by the spirit of his child. Upon realizing the poltergeist, he wants the soul of his deceased child to leave this plain and creates a sacrificial totem in the space of Palestine to plant in the ruins of his home. Set in the future, where the United Nation is dismantled for its inability to stop the genocide and injustice in Palestine, this is meant to be a video that takes place in purgatory. Is this man already gone or is his child still alive?
